They are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vinegar Joe (after the American general in WW II)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Old General (after Douglas MacArthur, \u201cold soldiers don&#8217;t die, they just fart away)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WC Fields of Sellwood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sargent Schultz of Sellwood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FDR of Sellwood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Henny Youngman of Sellwood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Robert Frost of Sellwood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Robert Burns of Sellwood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bob Cousy of Sellwood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Woody Hayes of Sellwood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Charles Bronson (<em>Deathwish<\/em> version) of Sellwood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Archie Bunker of Sellwood (when he launches into a faux conservative rant)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jimmy Carter of Sellwood (when he keeps the thermostat at a meat locker temperature and says to sacrifice and put on a sweater!)<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the course of living with my dad, I have invented some nicknames for him.
