Writers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Saturday, March 7, I will teach a\nwriting workshop at our usual spot in Astoria. The workshop is called\n\u201cFiring Up Your Writing Project\u201d and the idea is to take whatever\nwriting project you are working on (or contemplating) and move it\nforward. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will sit around a table, think,\nwrite, talk, share, pitch, laugh, listen. We will complete exercises\nin fiction and nonfiction that will help stimulate your creativity\nand discover new ways to fire up your project. Sometimes writing one\nsentence in practice or hearing a tidbit of discussion can help\nunlock the magic. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I feel it essential for writers with\nprojects in mind or development to come together in a relaxed\nsetting, write for writing’s sake and articulate your passion for\nyour project. I believe it helps writers finish and build a community\nfor the projects. It’s also how we make new friends. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop will run from 1-3:30 p.m.\nAnd hopefully we can have a little social time afterward. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The cost is $50. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
