At the end of the year I always like to\ntake stock of the various events and accomplishments in my life that\nunfolded. I guess you might call it a list. I believe the activity\norders my mind and prepares me for the upcoming year. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I wrote and published two books. I\nworked on two others for possible publication in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I oversaw the production of two other\nNestucca Spit Press books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I provided my author coach services for\nnine writers. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I wrote around 100 personal letters. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I wrote well to cure the disease of\nmass incarceration in my country. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I posted approximately 200 times on the\nMeditations Blog. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I met an incredible person from\nFlorida, an incredible person from Portland, and kept someone\nincredible living on the Central Oregon Coast in my life. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I tried and failed at reestablishing a\nspecial friendship with someone dear to me. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I reunited with my fifth grade teacher.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I built approximately 100 driftwood\nforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I got to know Reedsport really well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I worked a construction job for four\nmonths and thoroughly enjoyed it. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I worked as an ad designer for a\nnewspaper for three months and learned a lot. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I collaborated to produce 12 episodes\nof the Secret Coast Radio podcast. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I read approximately 125 books. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I walked the beach almost every morning\nI was in residence at the beach. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I taught three writing workshops. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I deepened the special friendships in\nmy life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I became friends with a chipmunk and a\nsquirrel. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I spent more time with my parents than\nany other year of my adult life. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I collected approximately 800 pieces of\nbeaverwood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I reconnected with an old friend with\nOregon City roots. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I became part of an art collective. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had my first art show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I always took the high road. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I broke even financially, but enriched\nmyself substantially in the spiritual ledger. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
