I&#8217;d never built one like this before and it was a\ndifferent physical and mental experience. The driftwood had to be\nhurled or dragged upward and then wedged and maneuvered into the rock\nto provide stability. It&#8217;s sturdy for sure, which simply means it\nwill last until the later afternoon when the winds whip up and blow\nit apart. But I have no doubt the fort will delight a few beachgoers\ntoday before its inevitable demise. They&#8217;ll have to climb to reach\nit.
