We prefer anything tactile over\neverything opaque. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We prefer courtesies over conspiracies\nand making up a word to when a need arises, over shoehorning one that\ndoesn’t really fit. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We prefer Ice Cube, Ice cubes in\nmartinis, ice cubes melting on stomachs, over ICE concentration camps\nand disappearing ice at the polar regions. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We prefer proper grammar but double\nnegatives in the service of a good rock and roll song are fine,\nbecause \u201cI can’t get any satisfaction\u201d simply doesn’t work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We prefer holding out our hand to help\nsomeone up over stomping someone to the ground and communities that\nstill barn raise over ones that don’t have barns to raise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We prefer asking ants to leave our\ndomiciles over exterminating them. Guess what? It works. You scoff!\nTry it. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We prefer lawns with molehills over\nperfect lawns, because there is no ecological point to a perfect\nlawn but there is an ecological point, an important one, to\nmolehills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We prefer talking rock and roll with\nchipmunks blazing on magic mushrooms over talking politics with drunk\ntrue believers, and not drunk on booze. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
