With this venture, I wanted\nto practice what I called \u201csustainable literature,\u201d meaning the\nbooks were written by Oregonians, printed in Oregon, and sold\nexclusively at Oregon independent bookstores and live events. Since\nits formation, NSP has published 30 books and sold over 30,000 books\nacross the PNW. And we&#8217;re still going strong. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nNSP\nhas released three books this spring, <em>The Bonnie and Clyde Files<\/em>\nwritten by me, and two others, a collection of poems titled <em>She\nOregon<\/em> and a novel,  <em>Alberta\n&amp; The Spark. <\/em>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nMany\nof my FB friends have generously supported NSP books over the years,\nI urge you to continue to support independent Oregon publishing by\npurchasing these titles direct from the Nestucca Spit Press web site\nof from independent bookstores. We need good stories and poems more\nthan ever, and I am honored to have worked with the writers of these\nmagnificent books. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nAbout\n<em>She\nOregon<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\nhis first volume of dramatic verse, <em>She\nOregon<\/em>,\nGold Beach poet Earl Mohr presents his version of awakening to his\nrelationship to Oregon. In this collection of poems, Mohr explores a\nvariety of themes, including the exploitation of Oregon, its land,\nwater, indigenous peoples, even its myths. The book, first in a\nprojected trilogy of verse, contains 38 poems, the first written in\n1966, the last one in 2018. Three voices, She Oregon, Scene Speaker\nand Echo interact with one another in each poem.
