I duct-taped it together until a proper repair. Now I&#8217;m one of those people who drives around with duct tape keeping the vehicle together. You&#8217;ve seen those vehicles\u2014windows, windshields, doors, bumpers. I&#8217;m only a lowly mirror man, but perhaps this marks the beginning to new dilapidated frontiers of duct tape, jury-rigging repair.<\/p>\n<p>My glasses fell apart a few days ago. I fixed them with duct tape. Now I&#8217;m one of those duct-taped glasses wearers. You see them all the time. I can&#8217;t afford to have my glasses fixed at this time so I am writing this about duct tape while wearing duct tape.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s next? What is there left to duct tape in my life? Am I already wrapped up somewhere and unaware? Can people see it?<\/p>\n<p>So far my colors are gray and green\u2014appropriate for the Oregon Coast. I can&#8217;t do orange. Black is a possibility.
